back 2 School Program

The start of the new school year is an exciting time. Defend the Fatherless wants to help all children who are in foster or kinship care start the school year off on the right foot.  Children of all ages are welcome to participate in this program which launches in late June. 

With the help of the caregiver, children are able to wish for a specific pair of sneakers and will also be provided with a backpack, school supplies, and socks! We are hoping that this special ‘dream pair of shoes’ will help equip the children we serve with confidence as they start off a new school year.
