Our New Home!

The Defend the Fatherless Board of Directors

For those of you have been around for a little while you know that as an organization we have been praying, fundraising, networking and searching for a place to call home for years. We have had numerous “we think this is the place” opportunities only to have God slam the door shut. There have been ups and downs, highs and lows, rejoicing and tears.

It is will great excitement that we can announce that Defend the Fatherless FINALLY has a place to call home. We are thrilled that through a brand new partnership with Flint Hill Baptist Church, Fort Mill we are now the newest residents of The Flint Hill School House. This building has a great history in Fort Mill as it was built in the 1800’s. It was originally a one room school house and now will serve as welcoming and safe space for foster and adopted children and their families to gather in community, “shop” for clothing, receive no cost tutoring and more.

We are so thankful for our generous community who joined us in prayer, helped us network and raised funds as we expectantly waited for God’s timing.
